We are very happy to announce that on 31 March 2022 our Module Leader, Professor Leonardo Pasquali, moved to Salerno to join the Advanced Specialization Course of the Jean Monnet Module ‘EU-Western Balkans Cooperation on Justice and Home Affairs’ (EUWEB). Divided into four sessions and structured in two days, the event addressed ‘EU ‘Boundaries’ and Challenges in the Field of Asylum and Migration Management: A Look at the Western Balkans’. Professor Pasquali took part in the second session, “The Challenges of the Western Balkan Region in Aligning with EU Standards”, with a relation on “Democracy and the Rule of law in the process of accession of Western Balkan countries to the European Union”. This was a great opportunity to expand SoEULaw’s research network with a prestigious academic collaboration and to foster debate on the role of Solidarity in EU Law!
