The lectures will focus on the social inclusion of immigrant foreigners (not EU citizens) belonging to linguistic minorities, with reference to the protection of their right to health. Specific attention will be given to the interpretation of Art. 35 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, devoted to “Health care”. The Italian national approach to solidarity and health will also be debated in class. Case law will be analysed as well to identify the legal value of various situations related to health and social inclusion in the EU and also specifically in Italy.
